Contract Award

Trakm8, the AIM-listed designer and developer of GPRS based hardware and software for the vehicle placement and security market, is pleased to announce the award of a significant contract with a new customer for Trakm8.

Trakm8 has been awarded a contract to supply 6,000 hardware units, with delivery commencing in April 2011.  Trakm8 will be supplying hardware based on the A1091 hardware platform which was acquired from Vincotech Gmbh in September 2010.  Integration work will be undertaken to meet the customer’s specific requirements.

John Watkins, CEO of Trakm8 commented: “We are very pleased that we have awarded this contract and this is validation of our investment in a broader product line via the telematics hardware acquisition from Vincotech.”
